Khatron Ke Khiladi 10: Karan Patel Wants His Daughter To Watch Him Perform Daredevil Stunts And Be Proud Of Him
Karan Patel currently seen on the TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi hopes his daughter Mehr feels proud of him, watch him perform stunts when she grows up. The actor welcomed his first child with wife Ankita Bhargava and since then he is on seventh heaven
One of the most celebrated actors of the TV industry Karan Patel is currently seen in the TV reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. Rising to fame with TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which recently wrapped up made him a household name. The actor has been on high both in terms of professional and personal life, with lucrative offers in his kitty, the actor also embraced fatherhood. Along with wife Ankita Bhargava, he welcomed his first child, a baby girl Mehr.
In conversation with Pinkvilla.com, the actor hopes that his daughter will feel proud of him and watch him perform some daredevil stunts. Performing some daredevil stunts on the show, the actor has been praised by the viewers. The actor also revealed of being away for the shoot of this reality show, when his wife was expecting their first child, thus making this show even more special for their newborn. He also mentioned the arrival of his daughter gave him more confidence to be on this show.
He quoted saying by the portal, “She is very happy. I think everyone in the family, back home was very supportive. In fact, they were more confident about me going on the show than I was. I was homesick as I was away from home, though I did not think I would be. I got emotional a couple of times I spoke on the phone as we were expecting our child and I wanted to be there for Ankita. But nonetheless, as they say, everything happens for a reason. So, I think when Mehr grows up and happens to see this later, maybe she will be proud of me.”
Shedding light upon parenthood, he mentioned of learning several things. Mentioning further of respecting mothers ever more now, as he watches Ankita take care of their daughter Mehr. “I have learned a lot. First is that how strong a woman actually is as I see Ankita take care of Mehr. A tremendous amount of respect for all the mothers in the world. Having said that, I have learned to do diapers, fathers should learn that. I think I am learning every day.” Karan also revealed that it was wife Ankita, who had kept the name Mehr of their daughter. “It was Ankita’s choice because we had decided that if it is a girl, she would decide if it is a boy, I would. In conversation with us, Ankita has revealed being elated with joy when the doctor informed them of being blessed with a baby girl. She said, “I was in Operation Theatre and Karan was with me inside. The moment the doctor informed us that it's a baby girl we were overjoyed as both of us wanted a girl and it happened.”
